About Broadband Internet Plans

Broadband comes in 2 forms:

  1. Fibre Internet Connections (Fibre 300, Fibre Max) are faster, and use special wires made of glass that transmit light. This should be your preferred connection type, but it isn’t available everywhere.
  2. Copper Internet Connections (ADSL, VDSL) are slower but use the existing phone lines in your house. Because of this, Copper Connections are more available throughout NZ than Fibre Connections.
